Our Impact & Programs
Mobilizing communities to action across four key impact areas — and running targeted programs that address Marshall County's most critical needs.

Healthy Community
We help people overcome barriers to good health by improving access to nutritious food and quality health education and services, including preventative care, mental health support, and substance misuse recovery.

We partner with food pantries, healthcare providers, and mental health organizations across Marshall County to ensure no one falls through the cracks.
Youth Opportunity
We support parents, caregivers, and communities to create early learning opportunities for young children in Marshall County. We provide training for families, teachers, and caregivers; ensure access to nutrition and healthcare; improve childcare center quality and access; and advocate for policies that prioritize investment in early childhood development.

Marshall County Imagination Library
In partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, we provide one free book per month to children from birth to age five, delivered directly to their homes at no cost to families.

The goal is to inspire a love of reading and improve childhood literacy rates across our community.

Financial Security
We help hard-working families make ends meet while connecting them with education and financial tools to build a more sustainable future. Our team assists families in accessing public benefits, tax assistance, energy assistance, and employment resources.
In Marshall County, 28% of families are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) — and we're committed to supporting every one of them.
The ALICE Initiative
ALICE — Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed — households earn above the Federal Poverty Level but cannot afford basic necessities where they live. Over 39% of households in Marshall County live below the ALICE threshold.
We connect these families with essential services including healthcare, childcare, transportation, and housing assistance.
