Our Story
Over 60 years of bringing Marshall County together for the causes that matter most.
“Everyone in Marshall County deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.”
“United Way brings communities together to find strength and share hope. It's the way we rally in hard times to meet people's needs so they can rise back up and build a better future.”
60+ Years of United Impact
For over 60 years, the United Way of Marshall County has conducted annual fundraising campaigns in support of local health and human service not-for-profit organizations. We help thousands of caring individuals, regardless of income level, to contribute to a united community cause.
Our volunteers have spent millions of hours advocating for much needed programs and services that help build a stronger Marshall County community — and as a result, we have granted more than $8 million to local agencies that serve Marshall County households for everything from basic necessities like nutritious food to tutoring programs for youth to helping the elderly get to the doctor.
